As incidents of school violence have increased drastically in number and severity across the country, campus security has become exponentially important. Our open campus was an intentional decision to create opportunities for outside play and socialization. To maintain this freedom that our students are accustomed to, we will better secure the perimeter of the grounds. Fencing will be placed alongside Highway 42, the entrance and exit will be gated, and cameras will be placed at the entrance to monitor individuals entering campus.
